The film that started it all. It was during the making of Down and Out in Love that the idea for a Warrington Film Festival first took shape.
Down and Out in Love was originally an entry for the Straight8 film festival and the experience of making the short film, and seeing it projected onto the big screen was the direct inspiration for starting a Warrington film festival.
White Line Pretenders was the Long Shot 2010 entry from 10k productions. The team went on to win the 2011 festival with Crime on Conscience.
Long Shot 2011 proved to be another great night out for the Warrington film making community, and we’d like to thank everyone who showed their support by coming along.
Long Shot 2011 is almost upon us, with tickets available for the October 21 event now online. Once again we’ll be showcasing short films from Warrington film makers.
