On Reserve: Hazel

Details

The Army Reserve (previously known as The Territorial Army), is undergoing a national re-structure and re-branding. Over the coming years the UK Government is looking to invest £1.2 billion from now until 2020 in order to increase the number of voluntary Army Reservists from 19,000 as it stands currently, to 30,000 by the end of the decade.

Hazel is currently a UK Army Reservist whilst studying Photography at UCLan. The video covers Hazel’s thoughts and opinions about being a reservist within the British Armed Forces, what she gains from the experience and how she feels that she is perceived.
